Our stay at The Springs at Borrego RV and Golf Resort

Hello Friends:

We just got back from a short stay at The Springs at Borrego. What a spectacular place to visit. We will definitely go back there. We stayed in spot #601, it was a perfect spot for us. The spots are spacious and everything was clean and very well maintained. We have AT&T cellular service which had a very strong signal there. The resort does have wifi, but because the cell service was so strong we just used our phones and logged into our personal hotspot when needed.

We arrived on April 8th and the weather was perfect. However, it started to get pretty warm by April 10th and instead of staying one more day we decided to pack up and head back home.

The landscaping is absolutely gorgeous. There are beautiful views everywhere you look. Although we picked spot #601, all the spots are equally perfect!

There are beautiful trees and bushes throughout the park. There is also a beautiful fishing pond for catch and release fishing (Bill caught large mouth bass).

Bill brought his clubs. Although he didn't play on the golf course he did putt a bit. Jill partook of her favorite sport of "putzing around" (hahaha). Best of all, we simply enjoyed the sunshine, beautiful surroundings, walking Kono and decompressing. And of course cooking healthy and enjoying delicious meals in our RV.

Here are some lovely photos we took of the park:

Kono loved the spacious dog park.

Large Mouth Bass ... released back to the pond.

Eating healthy on the road is a priority for us.
Jill loved her newly remodeled kitchen.

We drove into town and came upon this awesome little community ArtPark. As you walk through the park you can see all the community gardening projects, artwork, and an outdoor pizza kitchen with fresh ingredients from the garden. Everyone there was very friendly. The pizza kitchen wasn't open when we were there, but it looked very interesting and I'm sure the pizza is delicious.

We didn't end up going to the state park but we did drive around a bit and saw some beautiful desert blooms. We probably caught the blooms at the end of the blooming season, but still stunning to see.

In town there is the Anza-Borrego Desert Natural History Association's shop. A lot of interesting books and information about the area and momentos that you can purchase. We loved our short little stay in Anza-Borrego and will definitely be going back. Probably a little earlier in the blooming season which is from late February to early April.
We hope you enjoyed reading about our Anza-Borrego experience and The Springs at Borrego RV Resort. For more from The Griffin's and Jill's violin studio visit. https://msjillmeals.blogspot.com/ and http://www.griffinviolinstudio.com/.

Please feel free to leave us comment. We look forward to connecting with you.
